Gill is gone!

Gill is gone and I know I will totally call her at least twice to see if she wants to hang out...that sucks.

I'm worried about moving next May. As soon as finals are over I am leaving for Australia...that makes it very difficult to move. It doesn't help that we don't know where we'll be living. Apex is closer which makes it easier but Mass is where Chris wants to be so he'd be happier. *sigh* Everything must work out, it just will because I say so!

Gill is leaving :(

Gill is leaving tomorrow and I will have no one to hang out with! Of course I still have Chris, but we get to spend time together alllllllll the time, I need a girlfriend too! I wish I could explain to Molly that today and tomorrow are her last times to see Phillip so she should try to enjoy it and try not to get too frustrated with him. She is going to miss him so much even if she doesn't know it. Chris asked me today if I was going to cry tomorrow when Gill leaves. I know it's sad and corny but I probably will.

Chris went to see twilight!

So Chris went to see twilight without me. :( I'm sad, but he didn't like it...

SPOILER ALERT FOR TWILIGHT:

There were a few scenes I think they should have included in the movie...I wanted to see the part where Edward sits at a table by himself and smiles at Bella...and they talk and she learns about vampires. I also wanted to see Bella talk to Edward about he was dazzling the waitress and he looks her in the eyes and says "Do I dazzle you?" That would have made me happy! Hmm I also wanted Edward to tell Bella that he wrote the song for her, I don't feel like that would have been that difficult to add in. I kind of feel like they played up the part with James and left out parts that let you see the rise of Bella and Edward's relationship that become important later on in the next books. But even without these scenes, I still really enjoyed the movie. You should only go see the movie if you have read the books or you are in the mood for a fantastic love story about unconditional, un-understandable, strange, and beautiful love story.

My Pickle

So I am in a pickle. I am applying for two internships I am interested in but I can't decide what to do if I get them both. The first internship is in Hilton Head at Commander Zodiac. This is a tour place where they give tours around the marshes of Hilton Head and of the wild dolphins. I would be provided housing and work Mon-Fri with Sat and Sun off. The second internship is at Halyburton Park here in Wilmington. I would get to do a lot of program planning (which is what I am interested in). They do not provide housing and it is unpaid. I am given a $2000 stiffen which I would use to pay for my housing. I also would have to find somewhere to live for 14 weeks. I can't live on campus because the housing closes a week and a half before I would finish my internship. Such a dilemma...

My Snuggle Bunny

So I love my snuggle bunny (aka Barney) because he is super cute. I am super excited about going to Ohio because I will get to see all my family and it will be a blasty blast. I get to celebrate my 21st birthday and thanksgiving with them. I get to see all my family. Hooray!

Phillip!

Phillip is here for a week! So far so good. Phil and Barney have become best friends forever! Until Phil decided he didn't need two BFF so he was mean to Barney. Now he and Barney have gone back to BFF between the gate. They'll be better by tonight...

Today

Today I rode my new bike on campus for the first time. It is very smooth and comfy...except for the seat. I miss my gel seat accessory on my old bike. :( I finally wrote my paper for Asian Religions which is due tomorrow. I went to the mall with chris after dropping Gill off at the airport. I bought another Twilight T-shirt, some leggings, and the peacoat I wanted! I applied for a Sears card to get the discount for a peacoat and someone named George came up :( Now I have to do all kinds of investigating...

Procrastination

Well today I had classes and then I took a nap, then went back to campus for another class. Now I am procrastinating on doing my paper for my Asian Religions class and my Access project for my MIS class...my number one reason for procrastinating oh wait did I tell you I got a new bike? It's an early birthday present from Chris's parents and I love it! I got a big sturdy U-lock so it will be more difficult to steal. I hope no one steals it, it's just wrong.

I bought the stuff for Gill and I to make our own shirts! I bought the transfer paper so we can print our designs on them and then iron them onto plain T-shirts. Hopefully they will turn out, transfer paper is not cheap! We're thinking of doing some quotes from Supernatural-the best show on TV right now! I like "I lost my shoe." from when Sam lost his shoe. I have a new favorite cereal...Honey Nut Chex. It is so delicious.

An old friend of mine who I haven't seen in a few years is coming to visit me in Wilmington two weekends from now! Her name is Jessica. I'm not sure what we are going to do because it will probably be yucky weather but we always have movies to watch!

Someone stole my bike...

So someone stole my bike. Who would do that? It's just rude. I've had that bike for as long as I can remember. This upsets me. However, Chris and I have been watching the box sets of Supernatural and I love it.

We got our new sleep number bed yesterday and it's amazing. It's weird, but very comfortable.

OMG I love Gill's post about the hot boys. Let me just say that hot boys are good to look at. It's nice that Chris likes to watch Supernatural with me so I can watch the boys without feeling bad. Jared and Jensen are just so good-looking and fabulous, it's hard to be upset. Gill has made me hooked and it's ridiculous!


So next week I am going to have a house guest, Phillip. You may be thinking oh how nice someone is visiting Megan. No. Phillip is Gill's easily and overly excited but sometimes mostly psychotic dog. Luckily he and Molly are the best of friends...until Molly gets tired, then she gets angry and pouts in the corner. I'll have Phil from Wednesday until Tuesday and Chris is threatening to go to Mass so he won't have to deal with it. I think he's kidding...I hope.

We may be moving to Singapore!!!! How exciting/cool is that! Chris and I would most likely be forced to get married because of Visas and such but we would definitely still have a very large reception. I am very excited about having a big giant party all about me. Living in Singapore would be so different and exciting, I really hope Chris and I get the opportunity. The company would pay for us to have two trips home per year, which is nice. I of course would have to leave Molly, Barney, and Sanford here which is awful but do-able.

So I got my first tattoo. It's paw prints, on my foot. I like it. I thought long and hard about this decision. I've never really been a fan of tattoos because things you like now are very likely to change in 30 years. I will always love animals and they will always be apart of my life so I decided pawprints would be a good choice. It's not like I'm tattooing a picture of some fad that I will had in ten years.

Wow

So I haven't posted in a long time, but there is a hurricane coming and I am bored. Classes are cancelled tomorrow so I plan on doing some quality tv watching. I also don't have to go to work because I am afraid to drive my new car (new-used car :P) which is a manual, in the rain. So I couldn't go to work unless someone came to pick me up and take me home. Chris, who drives a Mini, also can't drive in the rain because it's so low to the ground, it would totally float! Hopefully Ike won't come next weekend because then we'll have to evacuate and packing up Molly, Sanford, Barney, and Chris is a lot of work for me! I'm off for the evening, but hopefully I'll keep up now!

Green Patch!

So sleepy

So tired...I am just wearing myself out with this two classes and two jobs thing! But my brother is coming tonight so that will be fun! Except I have to be at work tomorrow morning at 8:30... :*( boo hoo! At least I'll get off at 2 so hopefully I'll be able to get to the beach tomorrow afternoon. Work at the salon is going great I really like it! I'm at work now at the TAC I'm thinking about taking the summer off at the TAC so I can focus next summer session on my two classes because they are both reading intensive which suuuuuucks! Okay later!

So tierd...

Now that I am wearing myself down, I am super tierd...Gill and I went to see The Strangers last night and I must have jumped 10 times, but overall it was a good movie. FRIDAY WE'RE GOING TO SEE THE HAPPENING AND I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!

Last day with the puppies...

So apparantly today is my last day with the puppies! Madison said she and pups are going to camp out in their new backyard, what a crazy girl! I'm loving my new job at the salon, I've only had two shifts but I am enjoying it so far! The people there are great and make the job really fun. I'm also working at the TAC on Friday's and Sunday's. This is in addition to my classes Mon through Thur from 10:15 until 2:30. What a crazy busy life! Time for class :)

Time to go home...

I've been in Apex because my little bro graduated yesterday...apparently he has been learned! I also went to our FITS horse show yesterday where my baby boy (Skip) did FANTASTIC! Time now to go "home" to Wilmington to the puppies I am puppy sitting (Henry and Sakura) and of course to my kitty cat Barney. I have to go back to class tomorrow, woohoo! The first class isn't so bad, the second class is worse, but far worse for Gill who is stuck in an uphill race while wearing a 5,000 lb backpack chasing her socially challenged partner. Poor poor Gill, at least she has her movies. INCLUDING FEAST, quite possibly the best movie ever made. Well I guess I should go pack, before I leave town I have been requested to help Chris (brother Chris) shop for his GF's birthday present...hmmmmm what to get?
